Yes it is a "late" spring but the crop will get planted. Stopping for a few minutes to relax, have a good lunch, and assess the morning activities and fine-tune the afternoon plan is time well spent.
And when you can spend it with your family, the payoff will provide a far better return than a few rounds of planted crop. Remember the family needs your time as well.
