finney county, ks | I wonder how much the slow harvest has to do with it and also talked with quite a few feedlots that said they messed up last year on basis and let to much corn get loaded on trains from feedlot country so they are keeping the economics of loading it vs going to the feedlot in their favor which I think will hang around the basis neck for sometime I would say harvest here is maybe 5 percent done and i had 5.6 inches 2 nights ago driest irrigated corn is 21.5 handsheled so still be a couple of days before we get going | |
