| To clear any confusion---Do they mean 5th calf which makes them like 7 years old or 5 true years old so they are third calf cows???
Sounds like a pretty sound system to me!!!
To those that have many open 2nd calf heifers and lots of smooth mouth, broken mouth cows why not feed them for the white fat cow market? my favorite thing of years gone by. Buy close up broken mouth last calfers, calve, split right away, feed feed feed those cows a corn diet for 120 days or more. | |
