David Loberg Northeast Nebraska | There's lots of small pockets around the Laurel area that were bone dry or wet. The storms didn't move this summer. It would be 10 mile wide bursts that would build, so there, then dissipate without moving. We're between Carroll and Laurel, and we had no rain May 12 til August. Our dryland is 0-120 around home place. Our fields south of Carroll got 4-6 inches more, and will do 170-200. 6 miles apart. Hard to put a handle on where we're at... |
