| I select maturities/varieties that dry down for my area (NW IA). I begin harvesting corn in october usually and so far my total harvest average has never been greater than 17%. I understand this may not always be the case however, I have had luck storing storing 17%> in y 10,000 bu. bins by running air. I havent had quality issues and have actually dried it down a few tenths of a point in the bin with air | |
