Hi Phill,
We run a 9m (30ft) crossslot seeder here in Australia. We had it doubled up as a winter and summer crop planter with JD vac boxes on the backrow. Works really well in most conditions, handles any amount of residue, without pinning and lets us plant at around 7mph without compromising seed placement. Not sure how it would go on wet heavy clay soils. Takes up around 9hp / opener and ways around 10mt We farm mainly sandy loams. I'll try to work out how to post some photos
Any questions fire away, just remember the time diff.

Jim.
