Friend has a son out snowmobiling in togwotee pass, and some more friends in island park. Snow like they haven't seen in years, the fellow in togwotee, helped dig two guys out yesterday that were in a avalanche. I think it was a couple days ago they got four foot of snow in a matter of a couple days. The forest/park service has banned all backcountry travel because of the avalanche threat, it's not a matter of if, it's a dead certainty of when.
