The majority of the piles around me are covered and have some type of acieration in them so they will need to get picked up but not as soon as you would think. I think most of them will be picked up by spring or by real early summer. It is definitely a draw on basis until they are gone. I have no idea what % of corn in our area goes on a pile but just a wild guess would be about 15%. Most farmers around me have storage for most of their corn but a bigger % of beans go to town but they normally do not end up on a pile.
