SW Minnesota | I thought about doing this several years ago when there were still a few 8RW 1760 planters around - converting one to 8RN. (I even found a White 8200 8RW planter at that time that could of been had for$6-7K). The hinge is NOT in the right place to do this. If you are a very good welder (or know someone who is), then maybe a person could tackle this project and get a cheap 8RN folding planter. I just didn't want to tackle a project like this on my own.
