If you make a free account at www.healthydrones.com you can upload the flight record from your phone and it will show the battery temperature through the flight.
Generally they will generate ample heat but it wants to be ideally 15C or higher when you start.
The rest of the phantom probably isn't that bothered but there will be a lower limit, even the plastics presumably get more brittle.

Turning off the app video cache might make your display smoother.
