Anderson County Kansas | I put everything in PLC, it is looking like the right choice because our yields have been high enough we have't received ARC that amounts to much. PLC payment looks to be a nice check for 2016 corn. I picked PLC for the simple reason I had crop insurance covering yield loss. I was looking for a way to protect price if we raised big crops and had low prices. PLC also doesn't have a per acre limit like ARC, the only limit is the payment cap. | |
