I have noticed them shutting off their trucks when they stop. I'll bet it is their regulations that say they must shut off engine when stopped. probably not a bad idea but uses more fuel and wears out more starters.





I read the same that the UPS driver is not to leave the seat with the engine running. A theft / liability thing I suppose, but bet they wear out an incredible amount of alternators/ starters / batteries.
