Once you get the tractor/trailer where you want it, lay a corn cob down at the driver side of the tractor, long ways, pointing to the center of the tractor step. Move fwd so the second hopper is over the dump point, set another corn cob in the same position. Tell the driver to look our the window and stop with the cob in the same position with it always pointing to the center of the step. If he has a problem with where the center is on the step, lay a strip of black electrical tape on the step lined up with the corn cob. Easy, cheap, quick, and best thing if the driver has a dumb spell, misses the trajectory, and drives over the cob, no harm done to the equipment, just re-set everything, maybe get a new cob. | |
