I cant use a plasma or 90 degree torch because it will cut the outer tube as well. The 90 can be made to work if you lay it down at a steep angle and try to shave it off but it's slow and kind of rough. My head ends up being right over the tube and I get a lot of fumes and heat. It's doable, but not hardly worth it.
