Canton, OH & South Central PA | HD truck ECUs know if the DPF (diesel particulate filter) or exhaust filter is removed and will derate the engine or make it unoperable. I would think the same is true of LD trucks. The ECU knows if the DPF is disconnected or removed. I heard Dodge is having issues with premature plugging of the DPF. Take it back to the dealer. It should be covered under warranty. |
