Subject: RE: rebuilder needs NAT approval........Skilsaw?

The rapidly vanishing farmland of Boone Co. Ind.
I've been through literally over a hundred power saws. I've found Milwaukee to be pretty lousy, although their sawzalls and drills are as good as you can buy. Last I purchased is a Bosch, well built, well balanced, with a cast instead of stamped shoe. I like it as well as any saw I've owned. Except the old school B&D sawcats, but in the land of cheap stuff they haven't made those for 35 years. If you're not used to a worm drive, I wouldn't recommend one if you're not doing production work, powerful but a whole different saw to get used to. Blade on the opposite side, handle way behind the tool, etc. As for cutting concrete, none of the new ones will stand up long to the dust so these days I buy the cheapest throw away saw I can buy, keep the diamond blade in it and run it until it dies.
