South Western Ontario, Canada | Not sure where you are.......antiques have taken a kick'n around here. With bad tires you won't get much. Buy the time you shove new tires on, paint and go over it to check it over you have more than others are selling for with good rubber and good paint.
I just went through this with a family wanting to sell a tractor.
I broke it down like this to them (they took it to scrap yard unfortunately) they seen others for sale at $1500 and they were sure theirs was better.
Rims alone are bouncing off $500 EACH (had calcuim in them) plus new tires which puts a guy over thousand PER SIDE. (old wouldn't hold air for much over an hour)
Engine work for parts alone would ring me $600 just to get it to start.
Paint would be about $1000
Unless you find someone that really wants them (I do as they would fit in with my herd of letter farmalls) you would be better off holding on to them for awhile to see if the market improves.
Sorry......maybe things are better where you are. |
