take your Krause and replace the twisted shovels with straight narrow ones, you can go 4" deeper with the same hp.


I had the same thought as well. We have straight points on a chisel we use to rip bean ground and it works well for that. It doesn't cover hardly any residue in corn stalks though so we don't use it for fall corn ground.
