Put it up right and tight, net wrap (2.5 wraps) goes a long way vs. a barn. Stacking it right 10 or 12 ft apart with flats pressed hard together makes a big difference too. You should spin the tires with a 100 hp tractor after 5 bales. Put up right it should last year's and a couple hundred inches of rain.
Maybe in North Texas. Op is in Georgia, That's a whole different world. South east Nebraska is to. Storage pays here as well as good feeders, you just don't see the check. |
