EC Nebraska
Back about a month ago on farm station KRVN Lexington Nebraska, Dutcher the Nebraska state climatelogist talked about in Nebraska, that the following summer after 10 of the wettest November-December periods, 8 of them resulted in below trend line yields, some quite significant reductions. Last November-December was the wettest on record across Nebraska. Am I forecasting a drought, who knows? However I would be very careful about becoming too bearish going into this upcoming growing season, because the odds of a weather issue are higher than normal.
