With the exchange capacity you have you will never economically lower the Ph. Some corn hybrids respond to high Ph's better than others. Look for them. As to soybeans: you need to have some potash on that soil for anything, whether corn or beans. Also, for soybeans with that Ph you probably also have a Mn issue. If that is the case I would plant the soybeans, then broadcast Am Sulfate over the top. Do not incorporate the AmSulfate, it will get into the soil just fine. That will change the soil Ph for a period of time and will make the Micros more available during that period of time. May still need to spray, Iron, Mn, or whatnot, but should help a bit.

With the exchange capacity you have there is no way to pull it down probably in your lifetime, or economically if you do get it down.
