SC Iowa | or something like that........big uptick in spot biz this week, even as basis widened 3 cents
had been spotting in the low 50's per day but Thursday/Friday looks to be 90k+ per day
could be a lot of reasons, including fact we have winter storm heading this way early next week
but it all tells me that the "great gathering of money" is underway this winter
corn spreads----total agreement with the others that front end can stay influenced by cash movement, etc..........and with a reasonable crop on the way, those late year spreads will grow as the carryover finds a home one way or another and we then start over again in harvest.....
could turn out to be a year where basis lows are set early....mid august to late sept??
