By that I mean things like...
don't skip on the core count,
clean the probe off,
fully cover each zone with random probing,
Make sure when you hit a rock you discard the half sample and go for another full depth sample.
Yada yada.

Most guys will want to get a little lazy on the core count or the walking after spending a week or two at it every day. Its hard not to skimp a little when I do it myself.

Also how can you explain the importance of such a practice to a hired hand? No way they are going to be able to grasp the importance.
