We had a chip on our 8430 that kept throwing codes with the fuel temp. We then got a stienbaurer and had no trouble with it. Come to find out, the chip we had on it first was what they called a pressure chip, it increased the fuel pressure to get more fuel to the engine. The stienbaurer gets the extra fuel there by increasing the duration of the injectors.
