Slicker than a Yes album. | Yup, I posted that last year. Thanks goes to the boss who thought of it. We haven't had any problems with beeswings clogging it. As you can see, the silage wagon for the beeswings/fines vacuum on top of the airlock is right there, but most of the junk stays in that. I don't have a current picture of what we have now, but it's a big Donaldson air filter with a plastic 30 gal barrel bolted to the top of it. This pic from 1999 shows how the airlock was originally equipped, but the air filter was not adequate for the airflow. Also note the original 30 hp orange motor. We switched to a 40 hp a few years ago. Helps to push to the big bin and shed.
