NE Iowa | Did we lose the requirement for the land to be "environmentally sensitive" to be eligible for CRP? You say the piece is flat and square so definitely not highly erodible. Is it along a creek or river or something? In my area everything is rolling and highly erodible so was always eligible but as you got away from the river and it levels out some there would be farms were only half the farms could be in CRP and the other half was "too good to qualify". Have the rules changed now and they take anything? | |
