Yes, without a doubt. I wasn't shocked by it. My wife picked up the processed hog, I don't recall the hanging weight but let's say I got 115# of meat and have $315 in it. I've got pork that I know where it came from, and it's cost me $2.74/#. I'm ok with that. Beats the stuff coming out of the grocery store. And I may be off on the 115#...could have been 90#....I'm still ok with it. This hog wasn't fed a "hot show ration". It was fed out as if they were going to eat it themselves.
