Those are very easy to not have in there right. First make sure that you have the correct thermostats. Then make sure they are sitting down in the housing like supposed to. Then the gasket sits flat. If that doesn't work then i'd either resurface it or dump a can of Dike Stop Leak in if you want a quick, easy fix.
