Take them to a machine shop and have them surfaced. They're aluminum, probably warped or pitted. Couple of seconds on the surface grinder and done

I put a thermostat in a 3020 my mechanic told me to bring the housing in with me, a couple of seconds on a grinder and they don't leak.
