Mondovi,Wi | I dont know of anybody that put enough groceries out there this year for 250 bu corn except for the irrigated farms. I am sure there will be spots in a field that will do that. There is some good corn, and there is some crap corn just like every other year. Lots of guys that have not walked their fields yet, this crop WILL run out of gas during grain fill and will clip 20+ bu/ac off yield. You can't expect nitrogen to hold season long with all the rain we have had. | |
