Pvafarm - 7/23/2015 06:57 A corn crop that big would remove about 100 lbs P2O5 per acre and about 80 lbs K2O per acre in the grain. Would need more N than normal possibly but not likely a lot more since 70% (give or take) comes from mineralizable N. Biggest issue with high yields like that is soil moisture availability related to soils as already stated. Individual fields can rock yields like that but not on a large level.


You also need the p + k in the stover to make the yield.
