Near-north Ontario, French River
I know its too late for this year but in the future consider leaving a strip along the road, plant it into soys, corn or wheat, Local canner here likes to see 50-75 buffer along the road if possible. Some guys do it, others plant right to the road. Many growers and sometimes even the harvest crew ( if its daylight when they pull in) will walk the field edges looking for bottles etc prior to harvest. Its been a couple years , that I'm aware of, since they've had to dump a load but when they do its a big deal, often time the plant will shut down as well to make sure nothing got inside. Old barn or house sites can be another hazard, shards of broken windows , wire, etc.
