I have a 183 12 row also, that I run 3 sweeps per middle. The rear sweep is a 12" and it runs about an 1" deep. I also have a Hiniker single sweep cultivator that I mostly use. Its definetly the best way to go for high speed shallow cultivating. Hiniker or Buffalo.
