Thurston County, NE | You are right on that Ray. We are at 26% of our corn for each day planting. Planting 200 acres a day with a 16 row is not hard work. Used to farm the same ground with a 6 row. I don't want to go back to that time to say the least. Done in 4 days, tried to be done in 3, but not able. Waiting on the beans till end of this system and with faster speed of bean planting, should be able to do it in 3 days. Of course weather and breakdowns can make 3 days into 10 days, but every farmer has his best system for where he farms. | |
