Southeast WI | I did the same thing a few months ago for one of our young employees and he took 5th place I believe. If you are taking the time to write a recommendation this person must be worthy of the letter. Explain how long they have worked for you, duties performed along with degree of difficulty and if they take initiative to do things without being told add that in. Basically tell a nice short story of how you appreciate this employee and how they have grown under your leadership. Its a good thing to to for a top employee! Have fun with it.
And don't worry about opening yourself up for litigation. Geez. Some people love to wear the lawyer hat. We have an actual lawyer as part of a club I belong to and every damn thing we bring up this person has to look at all the dark, bad things that could go wrong. And never comes up with an alternative way to raise money or whatever.... | |
