Here's what I would do:

Pull your cable. Somewhere around the 100 mark where you have reasonable access to an outlet, run a couple loops in the wire so you have a few extra feet of cable to play with, then keep pulling cable.

See if everything works. Spec for cat5 or cat6 is 100m but they will work greater distances.

If it doesn't work, cut your cable at the loop, add Ethernet plugs, and install a switch at that location.
