My dads was pecker head, lost him couple months ago,,,, was gonna write on here like some guys have when they lost their dad.(really enjoyed their posts) I'm not much of a writer, but I kept writing a few things down he did;
1968 300 hp 2 wheel drive(went to plowing day at Boone Ia, 7 bottoms, he didn't have an invite, told him he could make one round,,,,he plowed around a couple guys,,officials weren't impressed)
1973 4630 with front wheel assist
1974 12 row Jd 7000
1978 12 row corn head(bish built, 2-8 rows,,,sold 4 row that was left over)
1980 Combine, with extended 300 bu hopper, extra cy for 12 row corn head,extra auger in grain tank
1981 put his new pickup on lp(still running on lp, he could get lp for 3 cents in Mexico)
1988 425 hp 4 wheel drive tractor(25 years ago)
1991 450 hp
199?,,Parkinson's, kicked in, he did the brain probe elect stimulant to stop his shaking in Tx., Iowa didn't like the idea. It worked.
2007ish, got picked up going 95 in van,,, told officer he just wanted to see how fast it would go,,,,
