Many will say no coulters are necessary, just keep up on double disk opener replacement. I run a "regular" JD Coulter.

About the bean meters. Get them now if u feel comfortable planting 30" rows or double back. Compare the cost per acre of 140,000 population vs your drilled rate. Depending on how many acres of beans you plant you will pay for that planter sooner then you think in seed savings.
Population using 60 cell bean disk is corn population setting times 5. Example, 30,000 corn population setting is 150,000 bean population.
