sold the drill & went back to 30" rows
select short varieties in fields that produce tall beans that lodge
keep population under 160k
don't over water irrigated fields especially before mid August
I have not had a serious impact since taking these steps.
Variety selection had little impact, tall beans create white mold problems due to the under canopy environment. | |
