39.48, -82.98 | We're all in the same boat. I've done the Excel thing and still like the openness and flexibility it offers. But a spreadsheet does not enforce the rules of accounting and things can get murky as you copy and paste and old links get broken. Time to move on...but to what?
Software like Farm Works tries to be all things but my experience with it has been one of frustration. Maybe it's just me but I never got along with it, for a variety of small reasons that tipped the balance to Quick Books for financial accounting and SMS for ag data. So far, so good...but I do want more down the road. | |
