I figured with all the mention of the "budget" you were implying that the budget actually went down.   Thanks for clearing that up, you were getting my hopes up that a budget can actually decrease year to year.


If the county isn't spending less money but your taxes went down, either they're borrowing money (not usually a good idea) or someone else is paying more to offset you paying less.
