I like the bull and I am not a herford guy. He almost looks short in length in the pic but I think it is because he is deep and thick.  What is janky?  I learned something from a vet friend the other day. You see how he has the thick curly hair on his neck and head, that is a sign of fertility in bulls. They look pretty with a clean head but not a good sign. He learned this from a man that had worked at a semen facility collecting bulls.

Interesting about the curly hair on a bull. I was looking at my Hereford bull as he and his cow group were waiting for me to move the wire yesterday. He is fairly smooth haired on his body but very curly on his neck and head.  I've read the same thing about fertility.  Here's a picture I snapped of him yesterday. He looks much like this year around. He will be 3 years old next spring also.

As in Travis' picture above, there are some very nice Hereford bulls being bred these days.
