SE IA | Welcome to the seed business where company margins are 90+% and they screw their loyal customers. You just need to get this dealer pricing against another dealer. It only takes about 2 or 3 phone calls and I'll bet sooner or later you will have a better deal than your neighbor got buying half as many bags. Seed inventory is at all time high, I'll bet by next march there will be some better deals.
When seed company margins are as high as they are there is a Ton of wiggle room if you can get the DSM working against their own company.
I hate it! But that's the BS that is going on in the seed business right now. | |
