Are you talking same hybrids as well as similar trait packages? That can make a big difference. Or could you neighbor even be getting you stirred up? I've seen this happen too.

My dad and my neighbor are the two worst... constantly trying to get the other one riled up. Grain contract prices, level or rain fall gotten the night before, yields, etc etc.... they r a hoot. |
