Croswell, Michigan | Hand shelled some today, planted early may, 26.5-27.5% has dropped one point in the last 10 days. Checked some planted end of May and it was 35%. Talked to a neighbor that is running he told me 34% average.
I will probably be on a first name basis with the propane delievery guy this fall.
I don't understand your .14/bu drying cost?? How can you dry 20pts for .14/bu? Is natural gas that cheap???
