Little River, TX
Texas is not all that free of self serving.

The big push on a tributary of the Brazos was a was fronted by the Waco mayor, but speculation has it was instigated by a Baylor Law School Professor who happened to have a Gentleman's Ranch Next to a dairy farm.

Then our illustrious, Cow College on the Lower Brazos TX A&M U, donated a Japanese Visiting Scholar on the Leon River, another tributary of the Brazos to document and certify that the Dairies on the Leon were dumping animal waste into the beautiful waters of the Leon. No telling who the instigator was/is nor room for speculation.

We have a major supply of Nature Lovers residing in our State Capital, Austin. If we need more we can look in Houston, and most of our Urban Centers.

So common sense is not all that common in this fair state. To add insult to injury we have a major influx from California, New York and Mass. Bringing the values the just left.
