I thought that hybrid vigour came from crossbreeding. If you use say a Simm x Angus bull on Simm x Angus females you aren't crossbreeding any more and your hybrid vigour is out the window and you eventually end up with a bunch of poor doing mongrels.
Purebred livestock still exist for a reason.
Might want to read up more on heterosis.
