Eastern Nebraska | You don't need to transfer to Apex. Everyone assumes that this is a necessity. Due to how SMS works, variety locator is not needed assuming you set up all of your planting data correctly. SMS uses it's spatial data from planting to know what variety yields what. Just do the normal device setup come harvest and make sure that all of your Growers, Farms and Fields are the same as they were from planting and you'll be fine. Then when you setup your harvest documentation, you can just put in a generic "corn" variety and just harvest. The same for beans. | |
