The mg level is fine. The cal is high and gypsum just made it worse by add 800+ pounds of calcium. Build the K level to 4% and use ams. Over time the cal will get better. The biggest issue is spending the fert $ correctly and not throwing $ away.
Guys use gypsum to lower mag levels that are 20-30+%, add cal, sulfur, and loosen compaction. at 10% OM you can not have a compaction issue.
This is the issue with throwing around the idea that everyone should use gypsum and how great it is. Not on soils with 77% cal. Too much of a good thing. .
