I see this in a lot of publications. I don't get it, why would you advertise that you're inexperienced.

Wasn't trying to offend anyone, just an observation. The answer is obvious that they think that is going to give them an advantage. I wonder if it does, and at what age you would no longer be able to advertise "young farmer".
Again, didn't want to upset anybody, just was thinking about it from a little different angle. Too much time on my hands I guess, certainly not bashing young people.
